My name is Blanche Keir and I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Culinary Chef. My husband and I try to live life to its fullest, enjoying travel, family and FOOD.
Food is my passion and I was fortunate to have parents who enjoyed cooking and knew how to turn simple ingredients into delicious meals, which helped foster my career in nutrition. I also understand the physical and psychological issues surrounding food. As a young woman I struggled with an eating disorder, and my husband has been living symptom free with Crohn’s disease for 10 years.
My holistic approach to nutritional counseling is based on my belief that one’s body and mind critically impacts overall health. Nutrition does not need to be extreme or complex and small changes do make a difference. Just as each person is unique, each person’s nutritional path is unique. I will guide you in finding that path and empower you with knowledge to sustain lifelong changes.
I am a graduate of Rutgers University School of Healthy Sciences with degrees and Nutrition Science and Psychology, and the Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College with a Culinary Science degree.
My unique qualifications of both nutritional expert and culinary chef allow me to enable my clients to translate the complex science of nutrition into practical, healthy eating strategies for life.
I believe that no matter where you are in life, there’s no place like health.
